Drager (Draeger) Parat 4720 Softpack Industrial escape hood with ABEK P3 filter

The Draeger Parat range of escape hoods have been developed specially for rapid escape situations. They have a robust housing, high-quality filters and are designed to protect the user from toxic chemical and fire-related vapours and gases as well as particles for a minimum of 15 minutes.

These hoods have been designed for rapid deployment so the filter plug is automatically released from the filter as soon as the packaging is opened. No additional adjustment is required, due to the self- adjusting Internal head harness, so the hood is ready to be donned as soon as it is opened.

Both ergonomics and carrying comfort having taken into consideration with regards the packaging of this safety hood. It has been designed so the user can carry it on a belt or a shoulder strap using a grip clip or belt clip.

The robust and hard case for the Parat hood has been designed to be mounted on a wall using a wall holding unit. A choice of two types of packaging can be used with the Parat; one is a hard case which provides splash protection, or the soft pack, which provides dust protection. They both come with windows so that the filter expiration date and overall condition can be checked.

These hoods feature high-performance filters which can be relied on to protect the user from fire related fumes and a wide range of toxic industrial gases, vapours and particles.

The packaging has a safety security seal so that is possible to tell if the unit has been previously used or opened. Two filter plugs are provided to seal the filter unit for added safety. 

The hood is coloured signal yellow to provide high visibility and the visor provides the clearest possible wide-angle view for the user along with anti- fog coating on the lens.
