One of its most prominent features is the visor which has been considerably extended to the chin area which affords a high level of protection to the user's face.
Fully EN 14458 approved, this helmet's visor is constructed from the most robust and thermally stable polysulfone material which is amber tinted. It is coated with anti-scratch material on both sides and features easy opening and closing tabs specifically designed to be operated when wearing gloves.
The Drager HPS 6200 helmet features a shell that has been pressed using the SMC process along with an optimised coating of paint. So when it comes to paint adhesion and general robustness, this is an unbeatable fireman's helmet.
Other features that contribute to the overall comfort of this helmet are a lengthened chinstrap, Velcro fastening, and integrated additional padding elements to make the helmets suitable for small head sizes (50 to 51).
The integrated heat and flame barrier also contributes to overall comfort and safety along with improved acoustic sensitivity due to the extensive padding around the ear area.
Fireproof washable Nomax is used for the strapping and the headband is made from washable eco-leather.
This helmet is available in one universal size that is adjustable for head sizes from 52 to 64 and 50 to 51 using the additional padding.
Weighing in at approximately 1.365kg featuring flame-resistant washable strapping, this helmet is easy and fast to don, easy to adjust for different sizes with a five-point harness.
