More Information
These superb units have been designed to supply breathing air over long durations and are mounted on a trolley system supplied to the user by hose reel.
This design allows easy relocation and repositioning and the convenience of having the air supply close to the user. This also means the user can wear a lightweight harness, for example the PAS Colt.
A high level of freedom of movement and less fatigue and stress will be enjoyed by the user as a result of using this system as opposed to a conventional SCBA unit.
As with all Draeger equipment, this system has been well thought out and designed and has been made to accommodate one or two compressed air cylinders of a capacity of up to 50 litres.
The PAS 2 is made from high tensile steel that is antistatic powder coated and the trolley incorporates a fully approved footbrake, which is invaluable during operation.
There is the option of either one or two pressure reducer and two hose reels allowing joint use of the system or two independent systems can be run concurrently.
The supplied hose is 50m in length with the Drager PAS Airpack 2, which can be extended up to 100 m.
The trolley Hose reel connector has the added protection of a cover to protect it from potential damage in use.
A braking system is built into the real for outgoing hose distribution and this helps to prevent entanglement and unnecessary unwinding.
The Drager PSS range of compressed air breathing apparatus is a tried and tested system and you have added benefit of a safety pressure relief valve and pressure reducer, which is shrouded in a protective plate allowing maximum safety.
