More Information

The GMI Ship Surveyor series comes in 8 different models and has been designed specifically for Marine safety monitoring.

It is simple to operate with a highly intuitive user interface and an easy- to- read backlit LCD display. Being fully MED certified, it features infrared technology so it is ideal for purging/inerting operations, built into a rugged impact- resistant casing.

It has dual mode operation; combustible gas indication and confined space monitoring and an integral pump, which can draw a sample from a range of up to 30 metres.

The GMI Ship Surveyor has the ability to enter up to 300 different user identified locations and comes with data downloading and FlexiCal Plus calibration software.

The unit features highly visible LED alarms on the display panel, and a very loud audible alarm in excess of 80dB.

This unit is ideally suited for use in pre- entry testing, tank cleaning, confined space monitoring and several other applications in marine environments like refrigerated cargoes, fruit carriers, oil tankers, LNG/LPG tankers.

It is supplied with a hard (polypropylene) carrying case, a neck/shoulder harness, 4mm hex driver, probe handle with quick connect and 1 metre conductive tubing, 15cm open end probe, a box of 10 cotton filters, IRDA adaptor and handbook/manual, certification and software disk.

The unit weighs 1.35kgs and its dimensions are 180mm x 95mm x 100mm.
It is powered by two, type D batteries (alkaline or rechargeable) and has an expected battery life of 20 hours (alkaline) and 8 hours (rechargeable).

What our Clients Say

Se Servicing Block

We been dealing with Resmar for over 25 years. They are always at the end of the phone ready to help, it doesn’t matter what time of day or night. I know we can call and get person on the end of the line and not an answering machine. From their sales team to their Engineers, we get a first class service.

We love dealing with Resmar as they can always help when there is an issue. Our ship needed a repair of some gas monitors in Immingham. We called on a Friday afternoon and an engineer was there that night. A couple of hours later we were all fixed and ready to leave at high tide with our calibration certificate.
