The Scott Panaseal or positive pressure facemask is a self-contained breathing apparatus that comes in two sizes and can fit a wide range of facial sizes and shapes.
These safety masks feature a neoprene outer mask, reflex seal and neoprene ori nasal inner mask, they are positive pressure masks that feature a facepiece visor with a single curvature design.
Users who wear spectacles can easily wear these masks and the mask is available with a two-point adjustable polyester net style harness and a five point for the adjustable neoprene harness (strap style).
The Panaseal face mask has a bayonet connection for the demand valve, which is fitted on the left hand side and comes with the option of a quick fit port for communications device on the right side.
On the front of the mask is a speech diaphragm for communications and there is a positive pressure low resistance exhalation valve allowing effortless breathing. The design of this mask features separate inspiratory and expiratory paths, minimising any risk of cross contamination through the second stage regulators.
The Panaseal mask is ideally suited to the professional firefighter in airline and escape roles and is highly suited to protection in an environment such as IDLH.
